This is a dinner that I made out of ALL shelf stable ingredients! Hope you enjoy!

Dinner
Ingredients:
2 Cups Dehydrated Mushrooms
1 Cup Dehydrated Tomatoes
1/2 Cup Dehydrated Onion
2 T Dried Basil
1 15 oz can of chicken or veggie broth (you can also use chicken broth powder and make this a meal in a jar)
2 Cups of noodles (I used shells, it doesn't really matter)
salt/pepper to taste.
Bring 1 pot of water to boil
Add noodles, reduce heat a bit and boil for about 10 minutes. When noodles are completed, set aside and drain but KEEP THE WATER. This is TEOTWAWKI so we don't waste anything...especially water.
Use the boiling water to Fully Cover Dehydrated Mushrooms, Dehydrated Onions, and Denhydrated Onions. Make sure to rehydrae for a least 30 minutes.
After the veggies are done rehydrating, put the veggies, the rehydration water (if there is any left) and he 15 oz can of broth back in the pot. heat through and serve hot.
You could also try this recipe with other veggies. Spinach, Zucchini, mmmm. tasty. Of course this recipe will work just as well with fresh veggies if you happen to have a garden.

1 box of Simply Organic Banana Bread Mix
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup jelly or jam (I used my homemade blackberry jam, which i have included the recipe for below.
nonstick spray/something to grease the pan with (optional)
Preheat oven to 350. This could easily be made in a solar oven. mix the bread mix and the peanut butter together. Add water gradually until it makes kind of a firm doughy mix. mush it into the bottom of a square 9x9 pan. Top With Jam/Jelly and bake for 30 minutes.
Blackberry Jam
Ingredients:
4 cups of blackberries, washed off
2.5 cups of sugar, or to taste (you can substitute with spenda if you are diabetic)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Cook on low in a crock pot for 1 hour, stir.
Cook for 1 more hour, stir.
Cook for 30 more minutes.
It should be somewhat the consistancy of syrup, depen
ing on which sugar and how much you used.
Ladle into a pint jar and water bath can for anywhere between 5 and 15 minutes. five for normal altitudes, 15 if you're in the Misty Mountains of Middle Earth. It will keep a very long time.
